Terms of Use

Effective Date: October 1, 2026: Audio Journaling (Arc Synergy)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Audio Journaling (the "App"), operated by Arc Synergy ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity that happens under it. If you set a PIN, you're responsible for remembering it; if forgotten, regaining access requires re-verifying your account credentials, as described in the App.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of everything you write or record in the App including your journal entries, audio recordings, and any other content you create ("Your Content"). We don't claim any ownership over it, and we don't use it to train AI models, sell it, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

We access Your Content only to operate the App's features for you (syncing, backup, displaying your history) or when you explicitly send it to us, such as through a Help & Support request.

4. Acceptable Use

The App is intended for personal journaling. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Use the App to store content that is illegal to possess

5. Not a Substitute for Professional Care

Audio Journaling is a self-reflection and journaling tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical advice, and it does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services in your area.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

The core journaling features of the App are free to use. If paid features become available in the future, their terms, pricing, and billing will be disclosed separately before you're charged, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

7. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App, under Settings → Profile → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be reversed.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arc Synergy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you in the App.
